Nutrition Consulting
Halo Fitness believes exercise and nutrition is a package that goes hand in hand for an overall health balance and success in achieving optimal health benefits.
As a NCP (nutrition consulting practitioner) I will help you make sense of the food you eat and create a balanced dietary report that’s easy to follow and fit into your lifestyle.
What is a Nutritional Consulting Practioner?
A Nutritional Consulting Practitioner is qualified to provide guidance pertaining to the building and maintenance of nutritional well-being.
- A NCP can advise you on food selection, detection and management of food sensitivities, evaluation of nutritional deficiencies or excesses, and the proper use of food supplements, when necessary.
- Holistic nutrition counseling may be of benefit to anyone with specific concerns about weight control, diabetes, pregnancy and lactation, nutrition for families and seniors, or just trying to make sense out of conflicting theories of nutrition.
- Programs can be designed specifically for each client, taking into consideration such factors as height, weight, age, sex, level of exercise or physical activity, dietary goals, food preferences, sensitivities to specific foods and dietary habits.
- A nutritional consultant is a teacher rather than a doctor. An NCP can help to educate you about the consequences of specific food choices, and what the body needs nutritionally in order to do its own normalizing and balancing. The advice offered is intended as a complement to any therapy which is presently being undertaken and not as a substitute for the services of a physician.
